Vacation

Hello All.

I know that it has been awhile since I last posted. Mommy and I went to Roanoke and we had such a great time. Bampi took me to get my haircut, to see choo choo trains and on Christmas Day, I went to the hospital with him to see patients and wish them a Merry Christmas Ho Ho Ho. Mom Mom, Poppie and Bubba came up last Wednesday and then we went to spend the next few nights at Aunt Hillary's house. She took me to the book store to see Thomas the Train (I also went with Buzz and Mom Mom too). We also went to the library to check out some fun books.

Uncle Duane threw a surprise birthday party for Aunt Hillary on Saturday night. I got to stay up late for that and have CAKE.

Today is New Year's Eve and Aunt Hillary's Birthday. I think I am going to be seeing my friend Morgan.

It's The Holiday Season

Hello All.

This is my last week of school for 2007. Today we are having a holiday party that Mommy is going to try and go too.

On Saturday, Mommy and I are going to Roanoke to see Buzz, Bamp, Aunt Hillary and Uncle Duane. Of course, I can't forget my two doggie cousins. I can't wait to see everyone and I am sure there will be lots going on. Aunt Hillary is going to make a nice Christmas dinner.

Around our neighborhood there are a lot of lights and trees up that I like to go and see.

I have been helping Mommy bake and it is so much fun even though I make a mess, but I try to do the best I can.

Feeling Glooomy

I am still under the weather and am home today from school. Poppie came over so Mommy could work.

I raked in the goods during Hanukkah. Lots of books, DVD's and Geo-Trax. My train set is almost complete. It is so much fun to play with.

Hello All.

Happy Hanukkah to All.

Tonight we light the first candles and I am so excited for presents. I hope I get some good gifts.

Lights and Christmas trees are going all around our neighborhood. Mommy has explained to me that we do not celebrate Christmas, but I sure do like to look at all the decorations.

I was under the weather yesterday and had to go to the doctor. It turns out that I have a virus. I went back to school today, but Mommy had to come and get me because my fever came back.

Another Day, Another Fun Birthday Party

Hello All.

I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. We went to Bubba and Aunt Carol's house. I ate so much food, especially cake.

Uncle Warren came to visit this past weekend and we had a good time. He will be back next weekend.

Yesterday, I went to a fun birthday party for my friend, Jacob. I jumped around, swung on a swing and played in a bunch of balls.

Thanksgiving Lunch

Hello All.

Today at school, we had a Thanksgiving lunch. Mommy, Mom Mom and Poppie came to have lunch with me.

I have a new favorite place - Monkey Joes. It is a place where I can go and jump around and tire myself out. My friend, Sophia, had her third birthday party there last Saturday.

I have been doing a lot of swinging over the past couple of days because the weather has been so nice.

Expanding Vocabulary

Hello All.

I am starting to put three to four word sentences together and am talking mommy and daddy's ear off.

My two-year molars are coming in and they sure do hurt.

The weather has been warm here and tomorrow, the weather will take a sharp turn and be in the 50s.

We have another birthday party this Saturday at Monkey Joe's. Fun Fun.

Two-Year Stats

Hello All.

On Tuesday, I had two doctor's appointments.

First, I had my follow up visit with the ENT. My ears looks good and there is no fluid.

Second, I went for my two-year appointment with the pediatrician. We saw a substitute doctor. I weighed in at 26 lbs. 8 oz, am 34 1/4 inches long and my head circumference is 47 1/2. I had to get two shots which I handled like a champ.

The weather has changed in Georgia and I am barley fitting into my 24 month/2T clothes.

I am bringing home a lot of artwork from school.

Tonight I am going to go trick or treating as a tiger. We also have a neighborhood parade. I am very excited. My friend, Gabe, is dressing up as a duck and Morgan will be a princess.

What A Weekend

Hello All.

I went to a pumpkin farm on Saturday. and while we were there we went on a hayride. There were pumpkin, pumpkin, everywhere. The pumpkin farm also had popcorn, pumpkin loaf, pumpkin pie and pumpkin muffins. On the hayride, there were two talking pumpkins. I picked out two pumpkins. I had such a good time

Yesterday, I went to Monkey Joe's. Plenty of running and bouncing around.

The weather is changing and so are the leaves. It looks like fall is finally arriving.

Two Years Old

Hello All.

Mommy and Daddy through me a wonderful birthday party with friends and family at the playground. We had lots of pizza, and cake and I had so much fun on the swings and slides. I got a lot of fun gifts - Thomas the Train, Geo-Trax, clothes and a soccer goal.

I also enjoyed hanging out with my grandparents, great-parents and my uncle Warren even though I did not see him for that long.

Now that I am two, I have a lot to accomplish in the next year and that includes potty training. Wish me luck.

Busy Boy

Hello All.

Meema and Grandpa have been visiting and we are having a good time. On Sunday, we went to their new house and I ran around, Swiffered, played ball and danced to Jackson Browne.

I am feeling really good since I have my tubes put in. What a relief.

My birthday is coming up and I am having a birthday party with all my friends. I am so excited.

I am having my two year pictures taken on Friday and mommy may take me to her office for a visit.

What A Relief

Hello All.

I am feeling so much better and am back to my old self since I had my tubes put in. No more cough or runny nose. Mommy and daddy are so happy. Hopefully, we will not have to go back to the doctor until my two year appointment which is in a couple weeks.

Today, Meema and Grandpa came to visit and move into their new house.

My surgery went well today and I am feeling great. I was a little out of it after the anesthesia but was soon back to my normal self.

Surgery Day

Hello All.

My surgery is tomorrow at 8:15. After I have my tubes, I hope I have no more ear infections. I just have not been myself in such a long time. We had to go to the urgent care again on Sunday because my ear infection came back.

Bampi is also having surgery tomorrow on his shoulder.

Busy Week

Hello All.

Since I last posted, mommy and daddy found out that I will need tubes because I still had my ear infection. It got a little better but it did not go away completely. My outpatient surgery will take place on October 3rd.

Thursday, we met cousin Scott, Keri and Evan for dinner and walked around historic Roswell. We found out that they will be moving to Pennsylvania. I will miss them.

Uncle Warren came to visit this past weekend and we had a really good time.

Last night, we went to Mom Mom and Poppie's house for break fast. Mommy and daddy did not eat yesterday and they were hungry. There was so much food but the only thing that I wanted was ice cream which Poppie gave me. Yum Yum. I also hung out with my great uncle Bubba, Aunt Carol, Michael and Dena.

Birthday Party and A Road Trip

Hello All.

This past weekend was quite busy. On Saturday, my buddy Gabe had his second birthday party. He had a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme. We gave him a bubble lawn mower just like mine. Now we can help our daddies mow the lawns. We also took a road trip to Americus to see Uncle Warren. What a good time I had. I ran around the softball field and kicked the soccer ball. He lost his soccer game which was a bummer. He is coming up this Saturday for a little visit.

Mommy and Daddy had to take me to Children's Urgent Care facility yesterday because my ear infection has not gone away. I kept Mommy in the car a majority of the day today because we went to the pediatrician and the ENT. Looks like I am going to have to have tubes put in and we will schedule the procedure tomorrow. This is supposed to prevent me from getting them so frequently. We have to go back to the pediatrician tomorrow as well because I have to get my final round of shots.

Happy New Year

Hello All.

Tonight is the beginning of Rosh Hashanah. Mommy made some good food for tonight's dinner. It is just us and cousin's Scott, Keri and Evan. Hopefully, we can have a nice family picture taken.

I want to give a shout out to my great great aunt Leonore who turned 90 on Monday. There is a big party in Wilmington for her but we can't go. Happy Birthday Aunt Leonore. I hope to visit you soon.

This weekend we are going to see Uncle Warren and I can't wait.

Doctor, Doctor, Give Me The News

Hello All.

It was back to the doctor's office yesterday. It seems that my ear infection has not gone away so I am on more medicine. Hopefully, this new medicine will clear it up. Mommy is so frustrated because I have been sick for a month. A good sign that I am feeling better is that I slept through the night last night and did not wake up.

Tomorrow, Aunt Hillary is coming to visit for the weekend. I am looking forward to seeing her. Buzzy is coming too and she is bringing me CAKE.

Tonight, we are going to watch Daddy play bisball.

All Night Long

Hello All.

Last night was another long night for mommy and daddy. It seems that I cried for an hour and a half last night. I kept saying big bed and also pulled on my right ear. Mommy put numbing drops in my ear and it felt better. I did sleep until about 6 and then slept in mommy and daddy's bed until 8:30. Needless to say, I was late for school.

Mommy is a little worried because I have not been myself for almost a month. We go see Dr. Cabrera next Friday for an ear re-check and hopefully everything will be back to normal.

Daddy says that we may put my big boy bed together this weekend. If so, I will post a picture.

Getting Bigger and Bigger

Hello All.

I am enjoying school and am making lots of new friends, but missed last Friday due to an ear infection. Since I was feeling better on Sunday, we went to the pool with Morgan and her mommy and daddy.

Last night, I had another first. I pedaled my bicycle with a little help from Mommy. It was fun.

Tonight, I am going to watch daddy play tennis, but first we are going to take a walk with Morgan and her mommy.

School Dayz

On Monday I started school. I am meeting all sorts of boys and girls and I am really enjoying myself.

Last night, Mommy took me to see Maddie. We caught up since I had not seen her in a couple of months. We played ring a round the rosy and her mommy, Lisa, recorded us. Maddie did much more singing than I did.

Hello Again

Hello All.

It has been quite awhile since I last posted on my blog. Mommy and Daddy went away on vacation to San Francisco, so I had to wait until they got back. Bampi and Buzzy came and stayed with me. We had a good time running errands and taking walks with Gabe and Morgan and their mommy's too. Bampi took me on the bicycle one morning before it got too hot out. We did not visit the pool because I was getting over a cold. They also took me to the Varsity where I had a naked dog and french fries. What'll ya have.

Yesterday, mommy and buzz took me to get my haircut. We also went to Brewster's because I was such a big boy.

This morning, we played in the tent.

House Guests

Hello All.

What a whirlwind week and weekend.

First off, I want to send get well wishes to my Poppie who has not been feeling good for the past week. He is on the mend.

Second, mema and grandpa came to visit me on Thursday and we had such a good time. On Friday, we went out to see their house which is coming along nicely and then went to look at mattresses. Let's just say that I got to test them all.

Saturday, daddy helped Uncle Warren move into his new apartment in Americus so mommy, mema and I went to visit Mom Mom, Poppie and Buzz. We had a nice day.

Sunday, we went to IKEA and mema and grandpa bought me a new chair. We also went to Atlantic Station, which is an area of Midtown Atlanta that has shops and restaurants. With all the excitement of IKEA, I fell asleep in the car and through most of the shopping, but woke up at Pier I where mema and grandpa bought some chairs for their new house. Mema and Grandpa also got Uncle Warren a Carvel cake which was delicious.

Uncle Warren is staying with us for a couple of days as well until he makes the move to Americus to start his new job. It is fun having him here because when I wake up around 7, I run and wake him up with a WARREN!!!!!!!!!

I'm a Big Boy Now

Hello All.

Mommy and Daddy bought me my own potty which I used for the first time yesterday. My big boy potty plays music when I use it. It is so exciting. I also said my first sentence on Saturday, I said, I want my Mommy, Daddy. I also said Uncle Warren.

The weather was finally nice enough that I went to the pool.

On Thursday, Grandpa and MeMa are coming to visit me. I am looking forward to seeing them both.

Been A Long Time

Hello All.

It has been awhile since I last posted.

Last Saturday, Uncle Carl and Uncle Rob came to see me all the way from Grant Park. For those who aren't from the area, that is near the zoo. It is quite a drive. We went to this neat restaurant called The Fickle Pickle and had a wonderful afternoon. I enjoyed the fried pickles. Saturday night, it was just Mommy and I as Daddy went to Americus with Uncle Warren to look at an apartment which he liked.

On Sunday, Mommy, Daddy and I went on a bike ride on the Big Creek Greenway. It was such a nice ride because it was not hot. We saw a baby deer on the side of the greenway and it did not run away. I fell asleep on the ride. Of course, Uncle Warren came over and had dinner with us that night. We went to this restaurant that was a train station. It was so neat and i got to play on the caboose.

I have some happy and sad news. My uncle Warren is moving. He got a men's head soccer coaching position and will be moving to Americus, GA as of August 1st. This is very exciting for him as this is what he has always wanted to do. Who is going to coach me?? Maybe he will come back for lessons. I will miss him very much.

Happy July 4th

Hello All.

What a day we had yesterday.

First, it was daddy's birthday. Mommy and I got him a bike. We had to take it back because the man at the store loaded a ladies bike into the car. My daddy ain't no lady. Then, we got a trailer so that daddy could take me on bike rides. It was so much fun.

Second, we had some neighbor's over for a cook-out/birthday celebration. Uncle Eric and Aunt Kasey let us borrow a pool. Gabe, cousin Evan and I hung out and had fun. Daddy loved his cake too. It was from Carvel. I was so tired from all of the day's activities that i did not make it up to watch the fireworks. Mommy and Daddy said they were great.

Shabbat Shalom

Hello All.

What a day I had yesterday.

First, since I love books, mommy took me to the library and I got my very own library card. We checked out six books. In the children's section, there was a train and mommy had to keep chasing me because all I wanted to do was sit in the train.

Last night, I had my first Shabbat dinner at cousin Scott, Keri and Evan's house. Keri made an excellent meal of roast, vegetables and potatoes. For dessert, we had German Chocolate Cake. I had already eaten so I snacked on graham crackers, corn and cake. We said the blessing over the candles, wine and challah. What an experience. We will have them over next month for our second Shabbat dinner. Cousin Scott took a lot of pictures that I will post soon.

The weather in Atlanta is very HOT. I guess that is why they call it HOTlanta. This morning, we went and watched tennis and then to the pool.

The coming week is very busy. Daddy is taking some time off. On Monday, we are going to go to story time and then out to Mema and Grandpa's house for something called a pre-drywall inspection. We are planning a cook-out for July 4th and daddy's birthday. It should be a fun week so stay tuned.

What A Long Strange Trip It Was

Hello All.

I am back from Roanoke. What was supposed to be a four day trip turned into seven. I will get to that in a bit. While I was in Roanoke, we had such a good time. We went to Buzzy's athletic club and I played with some kids. Bampi took me to the hospital so he could see a patient and I sat in the chair like a big boy and watched him intently. After that, we went to Sam's Club and then to get my haircut, which I really needed. On Saturday night, we went to Uncle Duane's birthday party even though I was fussy. Buzzy really wanted to take me swimming but the weather was not conducive, and when the sun finally decided to come out, the worst thing happened. I got a sore throat. The clue that I was getting sick should have been that all I wanted to eat was ice cream and other cold foods. Mommy had to take me to the doctor where my temperature was 104.5. After much debate and discussion, it was decided that I could not get on the airplane and go home to see Daddy and Vaila. I was not happy little dude on Sunday. I was happy that I got to spend more time with Bamp and Buzz, and we drove back to Atlanta yesterday but got stuck in horrible traffic for two hours. It took us nine hours to get home. What a long day, but it felt so good to sleep in my own crib with Dini and Nemo. I will post pictures later of my trip.

Stroller Pals

Hello All.

It has been a great few days.

Last night, I spent some time with cousin Maddie. We played ring around the rosey, read books and ran around her house. It sure tired me out. I went to bed a 10.

I have also spent a lot of time with my Mom Mom and Poppie. They took me to breakfast and on walks. Today, we went to see Mom Mom's aerobics buddies.

Tonight was especially fun. I saw my friend Gabe who had been out of town for a long time. Gabe is a month older than me, and he used to be taller, but now i am catching up. I was so happy to see him. We went on a walk with him and his mommy, Sara.

On Thursday, I am leaving to go visit my Bampi and Buzz. I am so excited to go on an airplane. I am not sure if I will have time to post before we leave due to my busy nap schedule and Wiggle watching. If not, we will post from Roanoke, or when we get back. I am sure we will have lots of pictures.

Hello All.

Yesterday we had some visitors, Cousins Keri and Evan. Keri brought Mommy some body scrub and a yummy candle from her new business, Keri's HomeWork. Visit her website because she has great products - www.kerishomework.com.

I know that I am getting bigger because I am letting Evan borrow my high chair because I am now using a big boy seat.

Tomorrow, I will see my grandpa because he is in Atlanta for work. He will come to our house on Friday for the weekend. We should have a good time.

C Is For Cookie and Colin

What a day.

Today, mommy took me to my great-grandparents house (Mom Mom and Poppie). I had such a good time with the both of them. They fed me cookies and ice cream, and then we went to lunch at their favorite place, Goldberg's. I had a lot of fruit and ate some of my hot dog but not much. I was also very tired as it was close to my nap time. After lunch. we headed home and of course, I fell asleep in the car five minutes before we got home. I took a three hour nap which gave mommy plenty of time to get some work done. When I woke up from my nap, mommy and I went to Publix where they give kids like me FREE cookies. I enjoyed it so much as you can see by the picture. I also got a new ball as mine seemed to disappear while I was visiting my great-greatparents. It is a Mickey Mouse ball. I love the mouse.

Tonight, mommy and daddy helped me ride my bike. I was bored so I decided to push daddy. It took a lot of energy.

Colin Goes To The Pool

Tonight I had a real treat, besides ice cream.

Mommy, Daddy and I went to the pool. I put all the things I learned in my swim lessons to good use. I kicked, blew bubbles and even went under the water. Daddy took me down the big slide which was TONS of fun.

Hello All. Welcome to my blog.

For someone who is almost 20 months, you must be pretty impressed that I know what and how to blog. Well, you can thank my daddy who used to work on computers pretty regularly, and taught me everything I know. Now, he just surfs the net to see what is going on in the world, and what new electronics are available. My mommy will be the one who updates the site as much as time allows. Please check back and visit often.

This past weekend, my aunt and uncle visited from Roanoke, and we had a wonderful time. They brought their dog Annie who did not get along with my sister Vaila. We went to the outlets in Dawsonville and just hung out and had fun.
